NEMEX-TEX Partnership, the representative office of
the
northeastern region of Mexico, is located in
Houston, Texas.
 It is a nonprofit organization that aims to
put into effect the agreement of cooperation for interregional economic integration,
signed by the governors of Coahuila,
Nuevo Leon, Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, and Texas.

NEMEX-TEX Mission Statement

The mission of NEMEX-TEX is to strengthen the economic integration of the northeastern region of Mexico with Texas by:

  • The active promotion of the objectives, programs, and projects that will lead to the economic integration of the northeastern states of Mexico with Texas. 
  • Identifying, developing, and promoting projects that integrate and stimulate competitiveness within the region.
  • Promoting and consolidating networks among the economic, scientific, technological, cultural, and institutional agents that can stimulate investment projects.
  • The creation, development, and promotion of human capital to increase productivity and competitiveness.


NEMEX-TEX participates in the effort of the northeastern states of Mexico to stimulate commerce and investment with Texas. It also aims to create awareness between the economic and institutional agents of the region.
