Climate
Tamaulipas has a variety of climates ranging from sub-humid and humid, including rain in the summer in the southeastern region, to mild climates in the highlands, and in the mountains the climate ranges from humid to dry depending on the altitude. In the central and northern regions, the climate is semi-dry and semi-warm with little rain throughout the year. Average annual rainfall is estimated at 891mm. Rain is more frequent between the months of June and October, and average relative humidity is 67.5%. |
